I’m a proud Canberran, small business owner and mother of four, with a passion for strengthening the communities we call home. Together with my husband Luigi, I own and operate a concrete remediation business that has proudly supported Canberra’s construction industry for more than a decade.

I was raised in a hardworking blue-collar family where the values of integrity, resilience and community were part of everyday life. My father spent more than 45 years in civil construction, and his work took our family across Australia—from regional New South Wales and Victoria, to the Snowy Mountains, Perth and the Kimberley before we settled in Latham in 1986. Growing up in Belconnen gave me a deep appreciation for the people and communities that make Canberra such a special place to call home.

My career has taken me through hospitality, tourism, regional farming, immigration, not-for-profit health, construction and small business. Each experience has shaped the way I see the world and reinforced a simple belief: strong communities are built when people have opportunity, feel connected and are empowered to contribute.

In 2009, my family moved to northern Italy during one of the country's most challenging economic periods. When we returned to Australia in 2013 with three young children—and a fourth on the way—we were starting again. Like many families, we faced uncertainty, worked hard and rebuilt. In 2015, we established our own business, an experience that has given me first-hand insight into the rewards and realities of running a small family enterprise.

Over the years I've become increasingly involved in advocating for the issues affecting our community, particularly those impacting small businesses, education, training, industry and the future of our region. What began as a desire to better understand the challenges facing our own business grew into a broader commitment to listening, asking questions and working collaboratively to find practical solutions.

I'm passionate about creating opportunities that help people thrive. That means supporting families, strengthening local enterprise, encouraging innovation, improving education and skills, and fostering communities where everyone feels they belong. I also believe Canberra's future is closely connected to that of our surrounding region. When we work together, invest in local capability and protect the places we share, we create stronger, more resilient communities for future generations.

This website is a place to share ideas, perspectives and conversations about the issues shaping our community. I don't pretend to have all the answers, but I do believe that by listening, learning and working together, we can build a future that creates more opportunity for everyone.
